PLANTS
Washing Plant
Originally a double deck screening plant which was converted by adding water sprayers to wash all clay and silt from the sand. Excess water runs to a settling pond that is pumped back by the reservoir.
Lime Sand Plant
This plant was first erected 40 years ago, it underwent substantial modification during the years and is today computerised, to ensure correct ratios of lime and sand.

Blended by a screw mixer, ensuring consistancy.
